Beautiful Website Trashed by iThemes Security

    Upon the recommendation from my hosting provider I installed your plugin. I had a beautiful site all set up and looking good. After installing the plugin and doing the settings and such, I checked my website and login to make sure all was good. I found the website was trashed, all messed up at the header and category pages and posts literally trashed beyond use or even viewing. A giant sidebar appears across the whole page blocking everything else.

    I was able to log back into admin with no problems and deactivate the plugin. Trouble is that now the damage is done. The website is trashed and did not correct itself after deactivation of the plugin. It appears now that I have to rebuild the site again. I didn’t have a backup since I’m just beginning to set up the website during the last couple weeks and wasn’t to that needing it point yet, I thought.

    Thanks a lot for adding numerous big problems to my endeavors and putting a halt to my production along with increasing my workload. Quite the theme you have here; very good at malicious behavior and destruction.

    I am sorry to hear about the difficulty you have been experiencing. I navigated to the site https://coastventures.us and all seemed to look fine and the links worked without issue. I am not sure what in the plugin could have caused issues without any errors or logs to point to.

    For future reference, it is always a good idea to keep current and up to date backups of your site, especially if you are trying out a new plugin.

    This plugin is not a theme but rather a Security plugin. It could also be possible that the issues you were having were the result of a plugin or theme conflict.
