    Hi Support Team,

Recently I am witnessing an issue with Yoast. On a regular basis I am getting a message from yoast which reads “Because of a change in your home URL setting, some of your SEO data needs to be reprocessed.” What is the cause of this ? Although I run the Data Optimisation every time, again this message appears the next day? Please suggest the solution

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Dajobbindia,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your site.

From version 15.1, the Yoast SEO plugin can detect the home URL or permalink structure changes. And since it’s a significant change, Yoast SEO needs to run the SEO data optimization again. We understand that you haven’t changed anything related to the notification so it is confusing seeing this.

Since you have already run the SEO data optimization and the notification remains, can you please deactivate and reactivate the Yoast SEO plugin temporarily on your site to see if that drops the notification?

Last but not least, can you please let us know whether you have recently installed any plugins/themes that add or change the URL and permalink settings? We had reports by other users about plugins/themes causing the notification to trigger, so in our estimation, it is probable that another plugin is making a change to a WordPress option since you have done none yourself.
