• The good: it works and it works well.

The bad: I’m a developer who wants one screen with all settings on. Jetpack used to have that but now, it’s a paginated mess and worse to turn off the different apps, each one has to be done individually as there’s no ability to change everything in one go. The new interface may be great for beginners but for developers looking for a fast roll-out for client sites, it’s just added to my workload.

If there was a setting to turn EVERYTHING off, rather than switching on what Jetpack assumes we want, that would be great. However, that idea has been mooted for a long time by various different developers and ignored, so I’m not holding my breath.

This is a case of style over substance and it’s an unnecessary step in the wrong direction.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Thanks for the feedback.

We’re planning on adding bulk-activation features back to the new interface, and you can follow our progress here:
    https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/4534

Until then, there are 2 ways to view all modules on one page:

    1. Go to Jetpack > Settings, and click on the search icon in the top right corner; all modules will then be displayed on one page.
    2. Go to the old Module list page, available at yoursite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules

If there was a setting to turn EVERYTHING off, rather than switching on what Jetpack assumes we want, that would be great. However, that idea has been mooted for a long time by various different developers and ignored, so I’m not holding my breath.

Jetpack includes filters allowing you to control what modules are enabled by default. If you’d like, you can disable them all by default. You can learn more about this here; it’s an old tutorial but the filters are still available.

    I hope this helps.
