    Hi,

I am very interested to buy the Pro version of Masterstudy. However, after testing the free version, I encountered the following:

    1. Every time I click on a particular course, its enrolled number of students increase by multiples of 2 to 3, instead of 1. Please advise how I can set the increment to 1 for each student who actually enrolled in, and also, not just viewing and not start course.

    2. When I create a student account and click on a free course and “start course”, then when I click and go into the User Account page, my enrolled courses is zero/ empty, even though I have already started the course and even attempted the quiz. Please advise if this is a bug?

    3. The User Account and User Public account are exactly the same and both do not have a logout button. I have to go back to the course page, click on a course to start and then click on profile icon to log out. Please advise if this logout capability is available in the Pro version?

    4. On each lesson, there is right/ left panel for students to ask question/comments and that actually go into the comments section of the WordPress dashboard. I would like to disable this. I tried to go into the WordPress setting>discussion to disable the comments. However, the right/left messaging panel is still there and students can still submit their comments. Please advise how this can be removed/disabled.

    5. Even though I have created new users to start the course, when I go to “Manage students” under WordPress Dashboard> MS LMS> Courses > Manage Student, there are zero students! Is this a bug? Or do I have to link it to some Woocommerce? What if I want to offer only free courses and do not need Woocommerce? Pleas advise.

Looking forward to your advise on the above.

    Best Regards
    Esther

    Hi,

Further to my previous post, I did further tests today. I installed a new WordPress site with Twenty-Twenty One theme and installed the free MasterStudy Plugin. And all the above issues that I described yesterday about the enrolled numbers increasing by multiples, no enrolled courses appearing in the student account and no students listed in the Dashboard, are all there.

Then I installed a new WordPress site with the same Twenty-Twenty One theme and installed the MasterStudy plugin on another hosting provider. The above issues do not exist. Except for item 4 where the comments are still coming in, eventhough it is disabled in the WordPress setting > Discussion. Next, I imported the demo course contents from MasterStudy. However, whenever I click on “start course” for any of the demo courses, it goes to the lesson that I created and not to the lesson of the demo courses!

I went back to the first site, deactivate the plugins that were provided by the hosting company which essentially is for speed optimisation and security purpose. There are no other plugins except for MasterStudy. The problems persisted.

Maybe you can shed some light why the plugin works differently for different hosting platform? And why the demo course contents are not working. I actually try downloading MasterStudy and the demo course contents on another site without first creating my own course. Whenever I click on the “Start Course” nothing happens.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out!

1 – Could you please provide screenshots of the error you are facing to? In case you are talking about this section -> https://joxi.ru/D2PayqWUwjG7KA it is not automatically counting enrolled users, you can control it under the course settings manually -> https://joxi.ru/krDPk3NTGM8Rpr

2 – Please make sure that you are using the latest plugin version, also, try to clear browser cache or re-check on a different device.

3 – By default logout is always reachable on the upper corner -> https://joxi.ru/E2pYn0ohvORKQA.

4 – you can try to deactivate comments in the lesson directly -> scroll down the page to the Discussion section -> https://joxi.ru/V2Vxvl1tBE9wjr

5 – please make sure that you enrolled newly created students under the needed course, as option Manage students can show you users, who enrolled in the course or who was added manually. If your courses will be free you don’t need to use Woocommerce.

Please make sure that your Permalinks structure is “Post name”, if not, please change to Post name and re-save, after try to clear browser cache and re-check.

    regards
