    Greetings, Kind Folks —

I’m trying for the first time to export an older blog, and then import it as a new one. The exporting went fine, from what I can tell, and generated a .xml file. When I go to import it into a new blog, however, I get this error:

Before you can upload your import file, you will need to fix the following error:
Unable to create directory wp-content/blogs.dir/72/files/2012/11. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Here’s a screen capture of the error and the directory to which it refers: https://composing.org/files2/import_error.jpg

Is there something I should/could do to create that directory?

I’d be grateful for any tips or advice.

    Thanks in advance —

    Best,
    Michael
