• Hi –

    I added a favicon to my blog (www.foreignersfinances.com) yesterday and everything was fine until I noticed my RSS feed (https://feeds.feedburner.com/foreignersfinancesfeed)was showing this message:
    ;
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/foreigne/public_html/index.php:4) in /home/foreigne/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 865

    The favicon is fine, but I have no idea what the problem is and any help would be much appreciated.

    I’m a beginner so please be patient ??

  • This often caused by unexpected spaces at the end of code in affected files. Check /wp-includes/feed-rss2.php and put your cursor next to the last character, then hold down the delete key for about 5 seconds to delete any unseen spaces in front of the last character. Then save and re-upload.

    I checked but there aren’t any hidden spaces. Do I have to re-upload feed-rss2.php in order for the changes to take place on my blog?

    Just because you can’t see them it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not there.

    Try checking your feed URL is correct in both feedburner and WordPress. At the moment the page is displaying “no such feed” so it looks like you’ve got the rss pointing to the wrong url.
