    Hello there,

Thanks for this wonderful plugin. I really like its simplicity.
    I have two questions/requests.

    1) I wonder what will happen if someone is using a caching plugin? Will the numbers stay the same until the cache is flushed for each post/page or will the numbers update?

If they do stay the same, could you please add this functionality? I bet many people are using caching plugins, so always fresh share numbers (maybe by using some AJAX) would be highly appreciated.

    2) Since the JS file is pretty small, could you add an option in the settings to add it inline to the page footer? Of course, you can achieve the same by disabling the JS in the settings and putting it in the footer.php by hand, but maybe this would be a handy option.

Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks for considering my thoughts.

    All the best
    Nils

By the way, I created a German translation for the plugin. Maybe you want to include it in future releases:

    Hiya!

Thanks so much for your comments. I will for sure add that translation – thanks a lot.

    As for your questions:

    1) Currently the numbers are not loaded with ajax. I can look into that, but it might be a little while as I have a holiday coming up, but I’ll add this to my to-do list for when I have time.

    2) I’ll look into adding an option for that. But as you said, it would also be quite easy to just add it to your theme file yourself. ?? If you need some assistance with doing that, let me know and I can do my best to direct you.

    Hey!

    Thanks for your quick response.

    1) Would be great if you could look into the AJAX implementation as this could really be a great feature for many users. But no worries, take your time and especially enjoy your holiday.

By the way, I just saw that the caching time is set to 7200 seconds, which is 2 hours, not 3 as described. But that’s not really an issue. ??

    2) Thanks, but I already did that. ??

Thanks for pointing out the timing thing – probably a typo that happened at one point or when I changed my mind about the timing, haha. I’ll adjust that.
