Best backup system?

    I’m new to WP and am confused by the backup instructions. There seem to be so many options.

    Please, what is a good, quick way to back up my WP blog?

    What I really would love is just a list of steps I can follow regularly. I don’t want a lot of options; I feel unqualified to make any decisions. Just a simple list of steps, and I will go away quietly. ??

    Use FTP to keep your files backed up to your home computer, and the easiest way is to just backup your whole WordPress folder. Use the WordPress Database Backup plugin to backup your database and download it to your home computer.

    Thanks, iridiax. Now I have an idea what to do.

    After I posted yesterday, it occurred to me that an alternative might be just to use the “export” tool every few days.

    Would that be a viable option, do you think?
