Hummingbird easily trumps all other caching plugins, including premium plugins. The free version alone comes with a host of optimization features not seen in other plugins. The ‘Asset Optimization’ tool is particularly powerful, although it can be daunting if you don’t know what you are doing. I recommend using only the standard compression options for all files to begin with. But even if you do make a mistake it can be easily undone by returning to the default options. This isn’t like other caching plugins, where a mistake in configuration can crash your website. After playing around a little with the settings my google page speed more than doubled. I highly recommend this plugin.
