I have an eComm .com domain. I sell stock in South Korea and in South Africa. I want a customer to be directed to the relevant site when they come to the .com site. I would also like the South African site to sync automatically with the .com site so that I don’t have to update both sites when I make changes. I would like to set the pricing in USD on the .com site and it should convert the pricing automatically to South African rand when the customer is from South Africa. I have a woocommerce account for each country with relevant payment gateways. What would be the most efficient config to run this operation? Any advice appreciated.

    Hi @andrevn83

I want a customer to be directed to the relevant site when they come to the .com site.

To direct customers to the relevant site based on their location, you can use a plugin like the Advanced GeoIP Redirect. It can detect your customer’s location and automatically redirect them to the appropriate site.

I would also like the South African site to sync automatically with the .com site so that I don’t have to update both sites when I make changes.

The easiest solution you can employ is to create a multisite. By using domain mapping, you can add a custom domain to each site. Once you’ve done this, you can utilize a plugin such as Woomultistore. It allows you to sync products, stock, and customers across all your stores from a single dashboard.

I would like to set the pricing in USD on the .com site and it should convert the pricing automatically to South African rand when the customer is from South Africa.

You can use the WooCommerce Multi-Currency extension that would be perfect for your needs.

Also, to further enhance your eCommerce experience and get a tailored solution, I would suggest considering hiring an expert developer. They can discuss and validate your idea to provide more tailored solutions.

I wish I could help more, but hopefully, this gets you going in the right direction to get the job done.
