Best eCommerce platform

  • I almost went with Shopify until I discovered WooCommerce. Saved me $30 per month at minimum. Allows so much more flexibility and free plugins, compared to the Shopify app store which is filled with subscription-based products. Also, with WordPress + Woo you own your store, while with Shopify you are renting your store and if Shopify decides to increase their monthly price, you have to pay up.

    The learning curve is a little higher with Woo but the cost and flexibility easily make up for it.
