Best Ever Postcards Plugin Not Working in Current WP

Hi there.

I’m trying to activate a gallery page with a postcards plugin that used to be fantastic. It had been posted at www.ads-software.com in the good old days. I still have a copy. It automatically turns any gallery into postcards without shrinking your gallery images.

It doesn’t seem to work the same way with the new versions of WordPress. I’m using a theme I made years ago with Artisteer, but postcards used to work in these old Artisteer themes.

There’s no other plugin like it out there, I’d really like to make it work. And if you can help me fix it, you’ll see why. WordPress no longer offers the download.

The author, Stefano Lissa, abandoned the plugin and gave it away for free including the commercial features.

In the past if you clicked on “Send as e-card” under the image, a nifty postcard form popped up in a frame, with the image installed to the left, and to the right there was a To and From and Message form to fill in.

The commercial version also allows for linking banners and such to each sent postcard. I’m not so concerned about that, I just want the basic postcards to work. I will even PAY for help with this.

Lissa abandoned the postcards plugin years ago, because it didn’t quite work. I found a way to make it work. It must be installed together with some version of “fancybox” to pop up the preview image. That solves the old problem he had with it.

Please help to rescue this great old plugin. It’s too good to kiss it goodbye! Anybody know where Lissa now is? Please wake him up, bring him over here, maybe we can change his mind and he’ll take up his plugin again.
