• I recently redesigned my site, and I changed the way archives were handled. By default, ten post titles per page are shown on archive pages, and then there is the option of showing 4 full posts per page.

See the archive for the all and sundry category:

I’ve done it that way with the intention of making the site more usable, but obviously, since I know how it all works, it’s very usable to me but not necessarily other people ??

I would very much appreciate any feedback/suggestions as to whether or not this is a good idea.

Would it help, for instance, if I put post excerpts on the default page? Or should I just scrap the idea all together?

    Thanks!
