Best host for surviving the digg effect

    Hey everyone.

    I’m wondering your thoughts on which shared hosting is the best to survive the dreaded “Digg effect”. I realize that getting a VPS or dedicated server is ideal, but that’s just not feasible.

    I’m heavily leaning towards 1and1.com as right now their Business Hosting package is free for 6 months and $9.99 after that. Any ideas? I realize that “unlimited” isn’t truly unlimited.

    I’ve heard quite a few other options such as cloud hosts like Amazon S3 or others like NearlyFreeSpeech.net which work on pay-as-you-go principles. I’ve also heard MediaTemple is the best.

    i don’t know anything about the best web hosts. but if you use wordpress then this plugin wp super cache will help you a lot cause it has feature to handle of digg effect

    Thanks uwiuw. I’ve read up on quite a few ways to optimize WP, but I’m still not clear on how/where to host.

    you can consider to host here in wordpress vip. i never have friends who host there but i think they will be great on their support.
