Best Maps Plugin, Great Support

I’ve tried a lot of maps plugins and this one takes the cake. The UI and map creation process are a delight, but the feature I’m most excited about is the Mashups functionality in the Pro version of the plugin.

I recently completed a large project that required hundreds of posts to be placed on a Google Map. Each post was of a custom post type with custom fields for latitude and longitude. The developers thought ahead and added a way to assign your own custom fields for latitude and longitude, which means it worked with my existing setup.

A Mashup basically takes any post with latitude and longitude fields and automatically places them on the map. You can imagine individually placing hundreds of markers on a map would be a nightmare, so that feature alone was much appreciated. You can also filter by taxonomy term, which means if you have a taxonomy for Countries, you can create a map for each country and only place markers for posts that match the selected term.

To cap it all off, support is top of the line and will work with you until you find a resolution. I can’t recommend them enough.
