Strictly speaking according to this forum’s rules you should be asking about plugin choices in ‘Fixing WordPress’ Forum. Maybe a moderator will move it.

Anyway there is a open source CRM designed for NFPs that is installed as a plugin and integrates with WordPress, although it is technically a system in itself, that should cover your needs, lookup CiviCRM.

One of my client is a residents association and they use it for about 5,000 members, membership records, subscriptions and emailing newsletters.

I’m using CiviCRM on WP for a neighborhood association. While it’s a wonderful platform, were I to do it again, I think I’d try to find something more pared down. I don’t see that I could ever turn this over to someone else to manage.

That said, it does membership, payments, mailings, and a whole lot more.

It is true CiviCRM is a ‘big’ product and well worth investigating other options too. Life is never straight forward when it comes to system selection. ( thankfully as much of my corporate life I got paid well to do just that )
