Best plugin for marketing a newsletter?

I am new to Word Press and transitioning from blogger. I would like to offer a paid subscription to a newsletter on my WP site. If possible I would prefer not to deal with complex e-commerce programs as I don’t intend to offer anything other than a newsletter subscription for sale. I see there are some 17,000+ plugins and was hoping someone might direct me to what might be the best two or three solutions to this problem so I don’t waste too much time and effort.
