Best plugin to create & customize crowdfunding page on own site

  • I did a lot of research into the various ways I could create a fundraising page for my volunteer community development consultancy. Most crowdfunding platforms have limited payment gateways and a selection process. Other WP plugins also cost money, had limited payment gateways or too many add-ons I didn’t need. This free plugin allowed me to create a personal crowdfunding page on my own website and manually enter donations. By connecting it to my webshop & its various payment gateways, supporters can donate in whichever way they wish. Highly recommended (although you do need to know a bit of HTML and CSS to get it to look pretty).

    Thanks for your post. I recently created a foundation. https://www.endparalysis.org, for which 100% of the donations go to research projects (to cure spinal cord injury).

    I would like to make use of the personal fundraiser plugin. I still need to dig into it to make it work. In the meantime, it is good to get users’ feedback and also see examples of how it has been used. Would you care sharing the url of your website for me to have a look? I understand that you adjusted some HTML and CSS to improve the look of it. I am just a beginner in WP but managed to make the Endparalysis website on my own, and hope to find somebody to help me in case major html changes are required.

    Can you supply an example of your crowd funding site?
    Also can you customize the payment gateway feature?
