    1. Uncheck Table I-A2 ( Resize on upload ). This will simply copy the uploaded file to the file being used for ‘fullsize’ displays.

    2. There is only one ‘small’ image file, used for thumbnails, widget thumbnails, coverphotos and thumbnail popups. They are created to fit the largest size specified. So, do not make the coverphotos or the thumbnail popups much larger than the thumbnails to avoid loading images that are much bigger than needed. Ref: Table I-C1, I-C1a, I-C8, I-D5, I-D6, I-F2,4,6,8,10,12. After changing the sizes that leads to a reason for it ( also when the new calculated size is smaller than before ), you will be asked to run Table VIII-A4 to regenerate the thumbnail image files.

The POD widget image is loading VERY slow.. It didnt used to do that. And because its loading slow and the other WPPA are loading slow it is slowing down the rest of the sites loading.

Can I email you a link to the page I am referring too. I believe I already have debugging turned on.

It is most likely that the un-downsized photo file is used foe the photo of the day.
If you make sure the thumbnail image size is large enough for the potd widget ( see above how to influence the size of the ‘small’ image file ), AND you have the box in Table I-C9: Use thumbs if fit checked, the small image file will be used.

If this does not help, send me the link at opajaap at opajaap dot nl
