best practices child theme

    this is an “in general” question. For example I can center the title and tagline in twentytwelve in several locations and it works fine. This includes at the very bottom of the child theme below the =media queries styles – at the bottom bottom! My question is, should I be adding custom css for regular screens (not phones, tablets) above or below the @media queries or does it not matter?

  • Keep in mind that Twentytwelve theme is built on mobile first, so thing outside media query is for mobile and thing inside media query is for bigger screenwidth.

    The text-align on Site title and Tagline in Twentytwelve goes like this. On mobile, it’s center. On 600px screenwidth and up, it’s left align.

    thanks – i moved it to after plugins and before media queries (regarding the box shadow)
