I’ve been linking images and buttons to internal pages using /apple/ for example, instead of site.com/apple

If I make /apple a child of /fruit/ would I need to redo all images/buttons or does WP know the new URL of site.com/fruit/apple ?

If not, is there a way to link to these pages so I won’t have to update them in the future? For example, if I changed /fruit/apple to /snacks/apple, I’d like to avoid updating ALL buttons on the site.

  • Hey,
Do you want to do this with pages or categories??
If you are doing this with pages yes you have to change all the URLs manually.

    These are with pages.

Is it possible to link to the page ID, so no matter where it lives, it can find it?

Anyone have an idea if this is possible?
