Best Recent Posts widget!

  • It is The Best Recent Posts widget. But we need more options like thumbnail size, show only Post ID(s), excluding current posts.

    The widget already includes this feature though.

    This isn’t something that I’d add to the plugin as a feature. Recently is a recent posts widget, what you want is more like a Featured Posts plugin.

    However, you can use the recently_pre_get_posts filter hook to have the widget display specific posts via the post__in parameter.

    … excluding current posts.

    This is likely not going to happen. You can use CSS to hide the current post from view.
