First time user and poster here so go easy….
Have just started out using wordpress with woocommerce, learning as I go, building an online store..
    My question is:
What is the best size image to upload for product in my store?
I realise I can edit size once uploaded, but concerned if I upload all my images at a huge size then I’ll run out of room or take too long to load. Surely these images don’t need to be of the greatest size or perfect quality.

Upload a decently large photo. WordPress will take care of creating various sizes, and assuming your theme is built well, it will only serve the appropriate size for the situation it’s being used.

    Thanks James..
At this stage the size is 1152 × 2048, usually abut 4-500kb each pic.
Any gallery pics or things like that I go bigger and better quality, but just for simple products I didn’t want to go too big.

Thanks again for the help ??

That should be just fine, definitely not too big, but big enough for WordPress to generate enough sizes for various occasions.
