Best store front plug-in, not for e-commerce

I want to add a plug-in that allows me to create a product display with categories, thumbnails, multiple images per product, product description and product PDFs for download. I won’t be selling anything through the website so I would like to avoid using a complex plug-in and and save on code-weight. Another thing that is key is for people to be able to create an account and save their favorites, and hopefully SEO optimized, any recommendation on what would be best to use to meet these criteria?
