• Okay, so I tested 20+ themes for a WooCommerce based site. We gave up on all of them in favor of this theme.

Perhaps the most valuable thing to start is the DEMO IMPORT. Assuming you have a new website because that brings in exactly what the DEMO shows… Images, placeholder articles, product categories, ads, etc. It’s easy then to click on an image and go change that article or listing. The slider was a bit more trouble, not fond of the revolution slider.

To be honest, I would rather that the DEMO IMPORT not import any more than actually needed for the front page to work. But still, saved me hours of frustration on layout and design.

Still working on tweaks for our release, but highly recommend this developer, they have several great themes and I tried successfully to use at least 3.

NOTE: We set up on a multisite, so we use a clone of the main store for testing, that way we don’t break our primary store. I recommend everyone to do this, much safer. Plus, you can manage a store and your news posts on different websites in the same wp install.

The testing will never end and fixes as well when you run a marketplace as we plan to do, so you need a way to handle stagging to build and tweak outside of your PUBLIC WEBSITE. But we do not want the extra weight of thousands of listings to be in a subfolder like many do. This way, we just use clones and test every little thing before we move to the public website.
