I can see why it can be a burden for existing people to make a switch to Gutenberg, but it’s not a reason to plot old technology. WYSIWYG has always had issues, resulting in various attempts at markdown editors.
This is where the Gutenberg shines. Instead of cramming all html into a WYSIWYG, and attempting to parse it, it allows the insertion of individual elements, keeping the code clean.
I love that I can build smart elements, based on schema to better target SEO. I can also create custom blocks for our editors to use to allow our posts to look rich, simple to navigate and easy to read for the end user. Absolutely love this plugin!
