Best video plugin to host on third party and not let user download the video

i dont want my members to download video only want to let them see it online.

If it can be viewed in the browser, it can be downloaded. There are all sorts of websites and browser extensions out there that make it trivial to download any “protected” video. The really industrious leechers will even do screen recording, or point a camera at the screen in a pinch!

That said, you certainly don’t want members to see a plain DOWNLOAD button as you’ll have with the native HTML5 player.

Two of the popular “private” video hosting solutions that I see commonly used in membership sites I belong to are Vimeo and Wistia. I’ve recently been seeing recommendations for a relatively new entrant Vdocipher, but I have no personal experience using it (neither have I seen it in use by any of the membership sites I belong to).

If you’re inclined to host the videos yourself on, say, Amazon S3, “S3 Media Maestro” plugin is highly rated.

Thank you George for your quick and detailed reply. So one thing is for sure that i use any options recommended by you i cant stop leechers downloading my video right ? Thats really bad though because this way i get few members and than one leecher who will download all my videos and put on free video hosting sites.
