• Elementor is a good visual page builder. It’s pretty fast, insanely flexible and out of the box, it can deliver full websites with little to no additional plugins. There is so much on offer and the other big players (I have tried pretty much all of them) seriously do not even come close.

The recent downside has been the introduction of the AI and image optimisation components. Elementor allows you to disable these but that really seems to do nothing as you still get all of these nags. You would think that if a person deliberately turns off a feature, they have made a decision and should not be nagged about it…. multiple times in a session.

The conditional logic is a welcome inclusion however if you use ACF, it displays the native fields slugs and the column displaying these slugs is so narrow that you cannot see the full slug name making it kind of useless.

Lastly, the mega menu I was really excited about but it was rushed out and is so lacking. You would think that they would have taken a leaf from WordPresses menu and include classes in the parent elements when a eg. menu-item-ancestor so they can be styled.

Please Elementor. Maybe consider working with WordPress and native coding structures instead of recreating the wheel.
