Best way for external database to get post_id

    Hello,

    I’m probably reinventing the wheel here, but I need a pointer to info that will explain the best way for an external database to get the post_id number. Is there a way to generate a list of post_id numbers?

    I’m trying to get the WordPress database to interact with an external database using post_id as the key.
