Hi! I’m using Really Simple SSL right now, but since they are transforming it into Really Simple Security, I would like to switch to One Click SSL instead. What’s the best way to do that? I’ve looked on your website, but couldn’t find any information related to that. I’m just not sure what happens when I deactivate Really Simple SSL.

Oh and one additional thing: I installed and activated it, clicked on the “Check SSL support” button, but that didn’t seem to do anything. That’s also why I was unsure how to proceed.

Hi and thanks for your question :).

We also saw how they’re changing their plugin. While it’s a nice thing to have lots of features in one plugin, I can see that it’s not convenient when the original plugin was different and has been modified to be another type of plugin. It’s not what users were expecting. Some like it, some don’t.

I believe you can deactivate their plugin safely. The worst that would happen is you getting signed out of your website. You can log back in if that happens. Then, enable our plugin, try the Check SSL Support again, and proceed with the rest.

Let me know how it goes!
