Best way to Add More Content Panels

  • I’m trying to find the best way to add more panels for users when editing from the dashboard, I’ve seen maybe adding custome fields but they could be deleted, besides they are not very user friendly, another way I saw was creating custome write panels, There’s a lot of code for one box but this looks the most ideal and user friendly way.

    There are plugins like “more fields”, “futter” that makes this easily.

    I was wondering if there’s another way I haven’t heard yet, any ideas is well appreciated, Thanks.

  • Not sure what you are asking, if you are looking for a structure then look at custom post types, read some of the links at the bottom of the Codex page.

    There are also Custom Post Type plugins, I have not tried any of these, hope that someone that does use them could add a comment.

    In short what they can do is give a working framework, the examples are like, Movies etc:, so if your website was for Real Estate you can offer lots of defaults boxes etc:
