Best way to backup files and database?

    Hi,

    I am looking to know what the best way to backup WordPress files and database? I am maintaining a number of WordPress sites and would like to schedule backups to deliver to a Gmail address or sync to Dropbox.

    I have tried backupbuddy but it’s not working for me. Ideally the plugin would be free and that the backups would store to an email address or Dropbox.
