Best way to hard code a homepage?

  • Hi there,

    I am thinking of coding my homepage from scratch rather than using a page builder and wondered what the best way to do this would be?

    Should I simply just create a “homepage.php” template file and build it into that, then assign the homepage to use that template?

    Or would there be a better way?
