if you have a local file or direct url to a hosted video or audio file then you can use this plugin.

I can post both Google Video and YouTube video on my wordpress. I just use the code from Google Video and YouTube without editing.

Does anyone has idea, why Google no more shows video code to embed in Websites. Like earlier, once you click the Video title, the page used to display option to either play or embed in site.

Kansir – how do you use the code from Google or YouTube and get it work?

To embed videos from Google or YouTube, you need to disable the Rich Text Editor.

You do this by going to User and then uncheck “Use visual rich editor when writing”. There’s also another setting under Options – Writing that should be disabled too.
