Best way to work on this locally / on a staging server?

    I am working on my clients website on a staging server. What would you recommend is the best way to start working on Store Locator?

    Also, should I use my clients google account or could I use my own google account until it goes live?

    I would appreciate any help.

    You can just install it as you would with any plugin, and once your done and move the site over it go to Tools -> Export, select ‘store locator’ and export the location, then import that same file on the live site. You will have to make any config changes yourself, as you also need to move over any custom template files.

    Which Google account you use shouldn’t really matter, but maybe stick with the clients one so you don’t have configure anything twice. Do make sure to set the referrers for both API keys to both the dev and live site.
