    A lot of people have been asking for this optimization so we’ve added it ?? Here’s a version with the JS Combination functionality added to the Frontend Optimizations tab:

    Your feedback would be highly appreciated. Although we’ve already tested it a lot, this tehcnique has a potential to cause issues in edge case situations so I ask the bravest of you to give a try and to let me know how it works for you! Thanks in advance, your feedback is highly appreciated!

    I checked this plugin out and for me, this was the change:
    First, I had an A 94% and a C74% Gtmatrix score with 191 requests and a load time of 7,5 seconds. The big problem is the 57 external JS.

    Now, this is the data it gives me:
    The A and C scores are unchanged as well as the HTTP requests.
    Combining the external js was not done but my website load now with 3,7-4,4 seconds.
    somewhere it went well.
    Maybe it is me that did not directly understand how to use the plugin. And I am willing to use my website for testing. Please contact me if needed.

    Unfortunatelly, we can’t combine external JS files, that would cause a lot of problems anyway. I am glad that it didn’t cause any conflicts with your plugins ?? Our internal QA have found few things that we patched and I hope we’ll be able to publish a stable release early next week ??

Ho appena aggiornato SG Optimizer ho rilevato un problema: attivo la funzionalità Combinazione JS ma questa non rimane memorizzata come scelta, ovvero se ritorno sul plugin trovo la funzionalità Combinazione JS disattivata. Succede la stessa cosa con l’opzione Memcached: attivo Memcached ma se ritorno a controllare SG Optimizer tro vo l’opzione disattivata.

    JavaScript combination is now part of the plugin, so I’m closing this thread.
