beta – shortcode and autopost

    Working thru some more testing of the beta.

    I have both shortcode and autopost activated right now, but am wondering if after testing is completed, in this new release should I be using either 1 or the other but not both at the same time?

    Shortcode has excerpt option of 75 words. Could you add 75 to the dropdown for autopost?

    In each shortcode posting, the title and the read more link to the same external feed location. In the autopost posting, the title links to the external feed location but (I am using Link) the read more is linking to an internal page. Is it possible to have an option to have the read more link to the external feed location?

    The benefits of this plugin is that you can use both the AutoPost, Shortcode or Widget – all at the same time or whichever is best for your site. There is no conflict between them..its totally a choice for the user.

    I’ll add the 75.

    The read more you are getting is from WordPress, not the plugin, as the plugin has no idea which page the AutoPost item will point to.

    Understood and that’s what I thought. Was just trying to match my page of autopost to page of shortcode. At the moment they seem totally different. Will recheck my settings. Thanks.
