    Hi –
I swear I saw a dashboard widget that’s related to the Beta plugin. Am I hallucinating?
I followed a link on said widget to make.wordpress. regarding the new menu API endpoints.
It didn’t open in a new window, and on my return to the site on which I have beta installed, I don’t see the dashboard widget anymore… I don’t see the widget in the dashboard vis
    Any guidance would be appreciated.

  • Which beta plugin are you looking for? could you please elaborate?

Yes. I installed the “WordPress Beta Tester” on a development site. I’ve been using it for a few years on other machines.

There was a new Dashboard panel that displayed Beta/Alpha status posts. When I followed the link to the aforementioned article on make.www.ads-software.com, the new page replaced the WordPress tab.

History does no good, and there’s no “you were here” for most WordPress admin tasks.
I can’t figure out how to redisplay that Dashboard panel.

    Thanks for your interest!

The dashboard widget shows up for the specific version of WP core that you are using. When documentation is added, it is picked up by the RSS feed and displayed.

Since 6.0 is now alpha there won’t be much there.
