Beta Tester Plugin – Avoiding Alphas

    I would like to use the Beta Tester Plugin to test Betas/Rcs of 4.3, then upgrade to the release version of 4.3, all without using FTP. What will I need to do to avoid going from a Beta/RC version of 4.3 to an Alpha version of 4.4 as experienced when testing 4.1 (see here and here)?
