    Hi all,

Given some of the issues we’ve seen, we’re trying to move rapidly toward an update next week. We would like to cover more fixes than we have so far, and do some internal testing prior to release.

But at this point, we’ve fixed a number of issues we think are affecting many users, and we want to make the beta available to those who may want to update.

IT’S A BETA. Please keep in mind it’s a beta. It should resolve some issues, it won’t resolve some others, and there’s a marginal chance it may create some new ones.

Feel free to post feedback about the beta here. If you do update to the beta and post a new thread or submit a bug report, please let us know which version you are using.

We’ll be updating the version numbers with each new beta. It’s currently 2.0.2. For the public release we’ll just bump it up one more number from the last beta so everyone will be able to auto-update from the dashboard if they choose to.

    Thanks,
    Erick

    – We’re still working on Multisite compatibility, it’s a high priority for us, and on our agenda for one of our next updates. You should be able to use it on your main install. Are you working on an existing install or new install of WordPress Multisite?

@sfrueh – Content not found, if you go to Gallery >> Manage Galleries, are you seeing your galleries there? Did you at any time click ‘uninstall’ or delete NextGEN gallery through your dashboard?

    Hello,

I updated the plugin and still see all of my old images yet when I attempt to upload something new content is not found and I receive a bunch of errors. Will this be addressed in the next update?

Updated to Nextgen 2.0.2 with WordPress 3.6, disabled all other plugins.

    Changes noticed from Nextgen 2.0

The old shortcodes for singlepics seem to work again – pics show up inline and lightboxed when clicked.

When I try to attach a gallery to a post, the ‘window’ that comes up is filled with my website.

When I’m managing galleries and I click any of the navigation – re-sort, next page, etc. I get kicked over to my home page.

    Same as Nextgen 2.0:

Imagegebrowser gallery still has captions under each image.

I’m trying to install nextgen 2.0.0 on my project web site on wordpress 3.6 and I’m getting a error: Sorry, NextGEN Gallery works only under WordPress 3.5.2 or higher. How can I solve this problem?

    its working now

I have several sites which upgraded to NGG 2.0.0 (wp3.6)
The main error i get is that basic thumbnail show in a list down and not accross. Whatever i do, the thumbnails wont show next to eachother.

Hey everyone, we’re deeply sorry to hear of the errors you’re seeing ?? . A few suggestions I have for you is to try the following:

    – Reset permalinks to ‘post name’ under settings >> Permalinks > clear browser cache and reload your site and try once more
    – I’m wondering if any of you wouldn’t mind temporarily deactivating all plugins (including NextGEN) and then clear your browser cache and reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does that help? If not, would you also mind temporarily switching to a WP Default Theme like Twenty Thirteen and see if that helps? I know this is an inconvenience, we’re very sorry. But it would help us diagnose if this error may be a plugin/theme incompatibility.

    – If the above actions do not work for you, we do have a beta you could install and see if that helps resolve the errors you’re seeing: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/

Otherwise, you can always rollback safely by following these instructions carefully: https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/how-to-rollback-a-version/ and wait until we release our next update. We hope to have the next update available by the end of this week.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience these errors may have presented, please note that we are rapidly working towards resolving all known major issues and getting an update out asap with fixes! Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

    Best,
    -Becky

    Hello Becky,

all of my galleries are still there and I did never click “uninstall”.

When people go to the gallery site they can still see every gallery and the thumbnails. But no gallery can be opened.

Feel free to look at the picture section of my page to see what I mean:
    https://www.dark-festivals.de/category/2013/

I am in big troube because people wait for our picture Gallery of the Wacken Festival, what is our biggest gallery this year and now 3 days late.

I’m very afraid to get the page fully destroyed when doing a setback to the earlier version, so I really need to get your hotfix 2.0.2 working.

Running out of ideas what to to, I followed the instructions step by step!

I attempted these steps and am still unable to upload new images to any gallery. The file seems nonexistent after upload.
