Better Email Logger breaks Post SMTP

after updating to the new plugin, I had the same. I had to provide the password again, because the stored password no longer worked. I put in the same password as before in the settings, after that it worked again.

The better email logger needs a key, which you get when you purchase it for free, check your account page.

There is however an issue with the latest version on the checkout page.

@mfrie01 – I am assuming the code you are talking about to activate it will be your serial key for the extension. This is provided on the checkout page when you “purchase” the extension (for free). You need to go back through that process and get a new key if you have lost it.

@darkallman – This is correct. Can you share you diagnostics log from Post SMTP? Have you verified that there is no conflicting plugins?

If you go into Post SMTP > Post SMTP, then on the right hand section you will find Diagnostic Test under the heading Troubleshooting.

I was finally getting ready to install your post smtp plugin and found this new notice also.

Does this replace the old one ?

Or is at add-on ?

And is it used in conjunction with Mail Integration Plugin for Office 365 ?

So just to confirm, since you installed the new ‘Better Email Logger’, all your emails are failing with error ‘Invalid Authentication Data’. Just to confirm too, you have checked all your SMTP login details and re-entered/saved the password?

For now – if you are using this, please deactivate the extension and revert back to the default email log. Thank you.
