Better Email Logger versus Post SMTP

    I was finally getting ready to install your post smtp plugin and found this new notice popped up.

    The alert says “A MUST DOWNLOAD”

    I uploaded it to my WP site but haven’t activated it yet.

    Do I NEED to activate it to install P-SMTP and O-365 plugins ?

    Does this replace the original Post SMTP plugin ?

    Or does it provide additional features ? Seems so.

    And is it used in conjunction with Mail Integration Plugin for Office 365 ?

    To be clear. I haven’t set ANYTHING up yet.

    So I’m guessing I just need to know in what order do these 3 plugins need to be intalled ?

    No, the Better Email Logger extension is not a requirement to use Post SMTP and/or the Office 365 API extension. It just provides additional features, as you say.

    Better Email Logger can be set up alongside the Office 365 API extension, but it not a requirement.

    Don’t forget we do have a set up service for the Office 365 API serivce, if you need it. See the Troubleshooting section. We don’t have a service for the Better Email Logger extension…yet. ??

    When you say “alongside the Office 365 API extension”

    Do you mean at the same time – or a specific / desireable order of installation ?

    Just want this to go smoothly and get it right the first time out of the gate.

    You can install them in any order. If you are using Office 365 for your site, I suggest using the Office 365 API extension.

    As the extensions are not hosted on www.ads-software.com, we are not supposed to support them here. Sorry to have imposed this change, however I have been reminded that it is against the WordPress guidelines for us to discuss this here.
