Better JPG compression possible?

    I like you plugin very much, but am currently doubting if i’m fully using its potential as my https://gtmetrix.com/ reports suggest that all my jpg images (/photos) can be compressed more.

    They claim a further improvement of 5-20% is possible. There is however one BUT: the recommend smush.it while if I manually try to smush my optimized images further thats not possible as there is no futher improvement possible according to smush.it.

    So, is this the best compression possible? And if so, what compression does GT metrix then use?

    Some web optimization sites tell you to use lossy compression, so that may be the case here. If you don’t mind decreasing your JPG quality, try the Imsanity plugin, it has a quality setting you can adjust to fit your needs.
