Better to have multi-site or have geotarget for multi-lingual site

I have a website where we have multiple languages.

I already have Polylang installed and already converted from English to another language and planning to add more in the future.

Does it make sense to convert the WP site to multi-site or use Geotargeting Plugin for each language?

If I still wanted to convert to multi-site for different language, what work goes into it?
