Better utilization of favorite plugins
-
I believe that favorite plugins is a functionality that has some potential and could be used with various different ways to better organize our plugins. Some ideas might include:
1. On a plugin’s page on www.ads-software.com, show how many times this plugin has been favorited and use it as an additional signal of its quality (e.g. when ordering search results)
2. On the WordPress backend, on the plugin install screen you can view your favorite plugins alright. The problem, though, is that their order seems to be random each time you visit the list. It would be nice if it was based on the number of times that you install them (your personal most popular first) or, at least, keep some consistent logic (e.g. alphabetical). Also, a find-as-you-type search would be great.
3. When you create a new site there is probably a bunch of plugins that you want to install at once. Currently you have to do it on a one-plugin-at-the-time basis. It would be nice if you could check multiple plugins among your favorites and batch install them with one click.
