BetterLink link excluded from Google index by noindex tag

    Hi,

    I have created many BetterLink links and used them in various sites.

    But for 1 site, the Google Search console is telling me 1 of the links is not indexed due to a noindex tag.

    Why would that be? There is no way to set or unset a BetterLink for indexing, so I don’t know what this 1 link is a problem.

    Ideally the page should be indexed using the value of the BetterLink but without the utm parameters, correct?

    Hi @flatword

    I have checked the network request for your URL, and I didn’t find any noindex or nofollow request associated with our short link. If you are using any kind of SEO tools or other sitemap tools, I recommend that you check those Plugins configuration as well.

    I have created a demonstration of your site with and without our nofollow options. You will see that your site doesn’t have any no-follow, no-index request with your provided URL, so I can assure you that our plugin is not the issue here. Please take a look at the video: https://d.pr/v/LTfh1M
