Beware: Konora is a defuncted Ponzi Scheme
-
“Konora” is a defunct Italian Ponzi scheme: a few years ago it was being presented, around Italy, at small local events as a startupping autoresponder software binded to a high-ticket “multilevel marketing/investment opportunity” (about 1 thousand Euros per person), for which the founders had raised a lot of money.
But the Konora software itself, from an IT perspective, was clearly a scam from the start, with only one developer and no real innovation nor substance; its real purpose was to collect money from people who were involved in multilevel.
In fact, within a couple of years, the Konora website disappeared and so did the money “invested,” leaving the scammed wannabe “investors” with thousands of euros in losses.
The additional scam was that the email addresses and data of people who had been entered into Konora, were then sold by the platform operator to the black market of spammers (a fact verified through some email addresses that were ad hoc created and never used).
