I am very disappointed to see that the plugin does not work in local development environments.

Getting 503 errors left and right, which led me to another support topic in which a user tried to use the plugin in a local environment.

Given how it’s an industry standard practice to develop a website in a local dev environment, I’m pretty dismayed that this plugin doesn’t work as expected… er, at all actually.

I was super excited to switch away from Smush because your plugin/service looked so promising, but this is a major roadblock and I will be switching back to Smush until you can figure out a way to get it to work with local environments.

As explained on the ratings page:

    Hi,
thanks for taking the time to review our plugin first of all! ??

We’ve explicitly wrote in our FAQ that you can find it on our plugin page (here) that the plugin doesn’t work on local configurations.
    Here’s a screenshot as well:

I understand that you missed that info in our FAQ and thus your disappointment with our product… Do you have any suggestions on how we could better explain this?

Also, please note that if you just want to test our plugin you can use a free WP sandbox service like this one.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Alex
