Beware – there’s something malicious going on with this plugin

  • I can’t seem to get rid of this plugin. I never installed it to begin with, but it keeps mysteriously showing back up in my plugins. There’s clearly a malware related issue with this plugin. Does anyone know how to prevent this plugin from getting installed again?

  • I had this same exact issue on multiple of my sites, this plugin kept appearing even though I never installed it, and all my other plugins were getting deactivated. I’m pretty sure this plugin isn’t the cause of the issue, instead the server got compromised in some other way, and this plugin is just a consequence of this.

    Unfortunately, I couldn’t get to the root of the issue, and only by moving my apps to another server I was able to solve this problem. Let me know if you find out more info related to this.
