• This theme looks great that was the reason I chose to use it for my website. But very soon I learned that in every new version this theme breaks something big. Sometime Slideshow will come with half of image going out of box, sometime it becomes impossible to hide Slideshow (yes it has happened in one update), changing color and size of font is also a common issue and in latest update now they have set thumbnail size of 680×330 for featured images on your home screen and it can not be changed through settings. My whole website is screwed and now I have to remove featured images till i find a fix for this issue.
So either ignore this theme or do not update it otherwise you may be left with a broken website. God knows if they even test their own theme or not.

  • Sorry, but I never had breackups! Its a great, super cusomizable theme. Maybe there are other things causing the breakup. I use many plugins so I can say it’s thouroughly tested!

From the Evolve settings > Blog Options > select Single Column layout and then see how big ‘Featured Images’ look on website (make sure ‘Enable post excerpts’ check-box is checked). Your website is using double column layout so you are not facing this problem.
This gets worse if you are using a small image as Featured Image (such as an image of 128×128 pixel size). Because Evolve will simply stretch your logo to fill the space and wont retain the original size.
I had to completely remove featured images because of this issue (checkout – https://www.techovity.com)
This was not an issue before version 2.9, I used to have 128×128 sized featured images on my website.
I have been using this theme for around 3 years, so I have seen how a new update simply changes to original configurations. Almost one year ago there was a version in which it was impossible to hide SlideShow on Home Page, I had to modify PHP file to hide it.

what about rebuild thumbnails..then they will perfectly fit.
